My professional experience in software development ranges from programming large, mainframe application systems for government and large-business clients, to hand-coding web pages for individuals and small business entities using Microsoft, Open Source and Adobe Creative Suite tools to create and implement standards-compliant websites. I also have professional experience in journalism, writing and editing, which informs my copy writing for web projects that require it.

My artistic training has been in traditional and digital painting and in classical music composition. The attention to detail, balance and organization these endeavors require bear directly on my ability to design and code effective and efficient websites.
